Paw Pad Trimming

Some dogs need to trim the fur around the legs, however if you have a medium to long haired breed of dog, you may need to trim their fur under the legs from time to time. Breeds such as Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, and Cocker Spaniels, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, are all breeds that should have their legs trimmed. Any dog with fur that grows longer between the paw pads will benefit from having it trimmed. Trimming the paws keeps the dog clean and tidy, it also minimizes the risk of grass seeds, twigs, and the like getting caught in the coat and causing considerable discomfort or potential irritation and infection.
